Inbound Interface Error Log

Purpose This transaction is used to review errors generated during the processing of the inbound Landmark interface file (IDD0206). This interface error log should be checked on a daily basis.

Prerequisites Landmark invoicing has occurred Landmark interface file has been generated and transferred to FTP server

Menu Path There is no menu path for this custom transaction; the code can be added to the user’s “Favorites” menu list.

Work Steps

1. Update the following required and optional fields, as needed: Field Description PIPE ID number of the interface. Enter IDD0206 Date Enter the date of the interface processing. Display All Make sure this option is selected.

2. Click to go to the Tracking screen.

3. Click the Summary Int’l tab.

4. Select the pipe in the top section of the screen by clicking the box at the left side of the applicable row.

5. Highlight the status row in the lower section of the screen and click to bring up the message list.

6. Highlight the column heading Line and click to group the messages in line order, if necessary. You can use the same method to sort the Message ID column to separate the errors from the successful postings.

7. Review the messages to identify the nature of the errors, and then use transaction XD01 to Create Customer Master Records. If the message is related to an interface mapping issue, please contact SAP Global Support.

8. Click to get back to the overview screen. Select the status line and click the

button

9. Click the ‘Select All’ button

10. Click the button. A status message will be displayed.

10. Click until you return to the SAP Easy Access screen.

Result Information concerning customer master record errors for the Landmark inbound interface will be displayed. Upon correction, Idocs can be reprocessed and SAP sales orders created.
