The meeting of the Martell Rushers was called to order Thursday, June 2, by Vice

President Shauna Pearson. Jorja Hince gave a talk on horses. We answered roll call to what we are going to do this summer and by turning in our fair forms. We sang Happy Birthday to

Adeline Meyers. Next, we had leader welcome and comment time. Fair forms are due at today's meeting and t-shirts arrived so please pay Perry.

The secretary's report was read by Riley Schumaker and accepted by Marina Boley and seconded by Greg Meyers. The treasurer’s report was read by Shauna Pearson. Our ending balance was $492.40. Jorja Hince and Austin Pabst accepted the treasurer’s report. Jorja Hince,

Jasper Knutson, and Joe Schmalstig reported in the roadside clean-up and bonfire. Austin Pabst,

Raye Schmalstig, Joe Schmalstig, and Greg Meyers reported on working at the Nielsen's Coke

Stand.

Skylar Meyers and Jorja Hince made a motion to have our June activity at the picnic shelter at the Eau-Galle Park, June 26th at 2:00 p.m. Adult in charge is Peggy Schumaker. Our

July activity will be watching a fish baseball game, July 17th at 1:00 p.m. Adult in charge is

Alica Cosgrove.

Gateway Academy is July 11th-15th; open to 6th-8th graders; contact the UWEX to register. 4-H Golf Classic is June 13th at the Kilkarney Hills Golf Club in River Falls. We are scheduled to help at the 4-H Concession Stand Thursday, August 11th, 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Thanks to the Knutson and Schmalstig families for serving tonight. Our next meeting is

July 7th at the Martell Townhall. Snack servers are the Schumaker, Pearson, and Owen families.
