In this document, components have been assigned to each grade with specific skills and terminology appropriate to that grade identified to ensure teachers know exactly which skills are to be included. There is a large degree of overlap within stages to ensure skills are reinforced and there is a development of skills within the component. As the infrastructure within classes varies, classroom management and organisation principles also need to be decided on by each individual class.

Information and Communication Technologies need to be: taught by ALL teachers in all grades integrated into teaching/learning programs in all KLAs and not viewed as an extra KLA.
