7Th Biennial National Meeting on Headache

22nd January 2016 SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS OF BASH 7 TH BIENNIAL NATIONAL MEETING ON HEADACHE 26 th -28 th January 2017 LAZAAT RESTAURANT, COTTINGHAM, HULL

Dear Colleague,

I have pleasure in inviting you to attend the 7th Biennial Hull-BASH National meeting on headache organised jointly by the British Association for the Study of Headache and the Department of Neurology at Hull Royal Infirmary. The meeting runs over two days and covers wide range of topics on headache diagnosis and management. The meeting is approved for 12 External CME points by the Royal College of Physicians.

The year 2017 sees the Silver Jubilee of the British Association for the Study of Headache (BASH). To celebrate in style, we have invited global headache experts including Professor David Dodick (President of the International Headache Society), Professor Jes Olesen (past president of the IHS), Professor Rigmor Jensen (past president of the European Headache Federation), Professor Peter Goadsby (past president of the IHS). In addition key speakers from BASH would be covering a range of headache topics of common interest.

The meeting will suit General Neurologists, Neurology trainees, General physicians and General practitioners. The meeting is supported by an educational grant from Allergan Pharmaceuticals. Refreshments and lunches on both days are available free of charge.

The meeting is free. However, the venue can only accommodate up to 200 delegates and it is very likely that the event will be oversubscribed; therefore, to guarantee your place, I would advise to reserve as early as possible to avoid disappointment. A cheque for £ 25, dated 26/1/17, payable to the British Association for the Study of Headache along with your registration form would secure a place. The cheque will be returned to you on the day at the registration desk but would be credited to BASH if you fail to attend. Those not registered WILL NOT be able to attend ONCE 200 DELEGATES HAVE REGISTERED. Post your cheques to:

Debbie Buttle, Department of Neurology, Wilson Building, Hull Royal Infirmary, Anlaby Road, Hull HU3 2JZ

There will be conference dinner on Thursday, 26th January 2017 at the Lazaat Restaurant open to all delegates to meet and interact with the global experts. The cost will be £ 40 payable to the British Association for the Study of Headache.

The venue has adequate parking facilities. For more details and to find the facilities for accommodation and train links, please feel free to contact Debbie Buttle, conference secretary who will be more than willing to help you to assist in you attending the programme on [email protected] telephone, 01482675591.
