Dear Colleagues,

AMCP WG-F

Preparation for WRC 2003 is continuing as well as development on other important spectrum related issues. The next meeting of AMCP WG-F has been arranged to take place from 27 March to 4 April 2001 at the ICAO South American Office, Lima, Peru and anybody wishing to participate in this group should indicate that intent with the ICAO Lima office as soon as practicably possible. As has been used in recent WG-F meetings, the meeting will be split into 2 parts with the main WG-F meeting being held from 29 March to 4 April and the ICAO regional co-ordination meeting from 27–28 March. It is important that as many regular WG-F participants as possible are at the regional co-ordination meeting since this is where a vast majority of information can be conveyed to those not normally involved in WG-F matters.

As part of this invitation I have provided a copy of the Draft Agenda plus general information which includes hotel and location details. If there is any items you would like to see on the agenda would you please let me know as soon as possible.

At the last meeting of WG-F in Berlin I believe all input documents were made available in “soft” form and this obviously helps in distribution and copying/editing terms. I would like to encourage this approach and further request that all input papers as far as possible be made available for copying by the end of February. These should be sent to Alessandro in Montreal and to myself in order to ensure that nothing goes missing.

I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the meeting but in the mean time if you require any additional information about the meeting or the group in general please do not hesitate to contact me or the Lima office.

Regards
