BASS-O-REE TOURNAMENT RULES

1. ENTRIES may be made in person at: South Austin Marine on Hwy 290, S. Austin Marine Lakeside on N. FM 620 or McBride’s Guns by no later than 4:30 PM Saturday, 4/9/11 or at Fish Finders Marine in RR by 4:30 pm on Friday 4/8, or @ the Skeeter Demo rides @ Carlos’N Charlies on Saturday during demo hours. LAST MINUTE ENTRIES may be made in person at Tournament Point from 12:00 noon Saturday, April 9, 2011 until 6:00 AM Sunday, April 10, 2011. 2. All Federal, State and local laws must be obeyed or contestants will be subject to disqualification. 3. Fishing hours are 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Sunday, April 10, 2011. No Fishing allowed on Lake Travis after 6pm Saturday, April 9th until tournament start time. 4. Contestants must have one member in the Check-In line to receive a weigh bag by 3:00 PM SHARP! Or team will be disqualified. 5. Only official weigh-in bags, provided by Capital Bass Club at check-in, will be accepted. 6. All fish must be caught on artificial lures by casting. No trolling, strolling, or live bait allowed. 7. A team consists of two contestants fishing from the same boat. (In the event of a hardship, one contestant paying full team entry fee is eligible.) 8. No fish will be weighed which has been kept on ice or is pale-gilled. 9. A penalty of 0.25 lbs. (4oz.) per dead fish will be assessed. All bass become the property of the Capital Bass Club for the purpose of live release. 10. Only Largemouth, Smallmouth, Guadalupe and Spotted Bass caught on Lake Travis during the Official Tournament Hours will be weighed. All fish must be at least 14-inches. Any team which presents a fish under 14-inches will be disqualified. A courtesy station will be provided for contestants to measure fish. 11. The bag limit will be five (5) fish per team. Tournament officials have the right to inspect live wells before, during, and after the tournament. 12. Any protest must be presented to the tournament director in writing within fifteen (15) minutes after the weigh-in is concluded. 13. All winning contestants are subject to a polygraph test. 14. Decisions of the tournament officials are final. Ties will be decided by the flip of a coin. 15. Trailering is allowed. You may launch your boat at any ramp on Lake Travis. 16. Contestants should abstain from consuming alcohol or using drugs during tournament hours. 17. Any contestant that violates tournament rules will be disqualified. 18.
