GALGHOTU GANG BUSTED : LOOTED MONEY RECOVERED

INTRODUCTION

With the arrest of three persons namely i) Vikram @ Vicky, aged 18 years S/o Surender Pal Singh r/o Jhuggi of EE Block, Jahangir Puri (ii) Rahul,a ged 18 years, S/o Madan r/o Jahangir Puri, Delhi and (iii) Juvenile, the, North West District Police has busted a Gallghotu Gang operating in the area of PS Jahangir Puri.. INCIDENT & ARREST

This gang used to rob the victims in the odd hours of morning and evening in the isolated places like toilets of various blocks of Jahangir Puri. To bust this gang a Police team was consisting of SI Sahab Singh, ASI Jaswinder Singh, Ct. Rajender Singh led by Inspr. S.B. Yadav, SHO/Jahangir under the close supervision of Sh. Jai Bhagwan Singh, ACP/Jahangir Puri.

On 13.1.2010 in the morning a trap was laid near ‘E’ Block near toilet at about 5.00 a.m. At about 5.15 a.m. there was a noise of ‘Pakro Pakro” on the road and one person namely Amit Kumar S/o Surender Lal r/o Jahangir Puri, aged 23 years was chasing the above mentioned accused persons. The Police team also chased the culprits and succeeded in apprehending all the three accused persons. The looted property purse containing Rs. 600/- and documents were recovered from the possession of Rahul. A churi, weapon of offence, was also recovered from an accused who is a juvenile.

On the statement of Amit Kumar Prajapati a case vide FIR No. 13/09 u/s. 392/.397/411/34-IPC was registered and investigation was taken up by the Police team.

INTERROGATION :

During the course of interrogation all the accused persons disclosed that they had no work to earn their livelihood, so they made a plan to rob people in odd hours of morning and evening near isolated toilets of various blocks of Jahangir Puri. They have committed 5-6 incidents of robberies during the month. They are habitutal of taking the liquor and spend the robbed money in taking liquor. They are poor and got education upto 8th standard. Accused Vikram @ Vicky and Rahul have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days whereas juvenile has been sent to observation home.

IMPOSTER CHEATING PUBLIC BY POSING HIMSELF AS DELHI POLICE HEAD CONSTABLE NABBED

INTRODUCTION

The North West District Police arrested one Ashwani Kumar Sisodiya, who pretended/impersonated himself as a Head Constable of Delhi Police and cheated half & dozen persons by impersonating himself as a public servant, a member of Delhi Police. The Police team also recovered a complete Delhi Police Uniform of Head Constable rank, fake identity card, fake election card and 12 electronic items purchased by him from the money earned by cheating the innocent people.

INCIDENT : There was an information that a person who is impersonating himself as a Head Constable of Delhi Police, have cheated many persons, on the ground of providing auctioned vehicles of Delhi Police at a very cheap rate. A team of HC Anil Kumar and Const. Anil Kumar was constituted and directed to develop intelligence in this regard. On 13.1.10 HC Anil kumar alongwith one aggrieved person Chand Babu was present near GTK Depot. One person, who was wearing uniform of Delhi Police Head Constable was seen persuading some TSR drivers, there was some altercation between one of the TSR driver and the alleged Head Constable. Police party intervened and made enquiry regarding the posting of the said Head Constable who could not give any satisfactory reply to the police party. Chand Babu informed that this person who is wearing Delhi Police uniform had cheated him of Rs. 62,000/- in lieu of providing auctioned Innova Car. Other person namely Subhas Yadav, who is a TSR driver was also cheated by him by giving false promises to provide TSR Rs. 18,000/-. On the statement of Subhas Yadav a case u/s 419/420/170/171 IPC was registered vide FIR No. 07/10 at police station Mahendra Park and investigation was taken up.

INVESTIGATION: During course of investigation it was revealed that the fake Head Constable who was identified traced as Ashwani Kumar Sisodiya s/o Sadhu Ram Sisodiya r/o A-1733, Jahangir Puri, Delhi and original r/o Vill. Sonati Bujurg, P.S. Old Basti, Distt. Basti U.P. came to Delhi in the year 2001 and started working in a private security company in Rohini and then came close to police personnel and learnt the behaviour/working of police. During the meantime, he came into contact with one Contractor Balak Ram, who was used to purchase the police vehicles in auction at old police lines. One more person namely Mukesh Kumar came forward and told that the fake Head Constable had also promised to provide him 175 auctioned vehicles and took Rs. 5000/- from him in advance to help in purchasing of these vehicles. He adopted this modus operandi to the innocent persons to provide the auctioned vehicles in cheap rates. He used to impersonate himself as Head Constable Ramesh Chand PIS No. 28031525. Investigation is on progress. On his arrest he used to give wrong name and address just to divert the attention of the investigator. RECOVERIES:

1. One Delhi Police Head Constable Uniform with badges, tokens, name plate, holster for keeping weapon, Belt and Cap. 2. One fake Identity Card of D.P. on the name of Ashwani kumar, impersonating himself as Delhi Police Head Constable. 3. One fake election card on the name of Ramesh Chand. 4. One whistle cord used by Delhi Police. 5. Two registers and one diary depicting Delhi Police emblem. 6. One file depicted police district jail Rohini. 7. One recruitment letter envelop about recruitment of Const. Executives and many photos and election card and educational certificates of different persons. 8. One black purse depicting Delhi Police Identity card. 9. One name plate on the name of HC Ashwani kumar in police colour. 10. One Delhi Police logo white T-shirt. 11. One T.V, DVD and clothes purchased from the money obtained from the victim by cheating them. 12. One lathi/Cane which is usually used by the Delhi Police personnel. Profile of the accused:

Ashwani kumar s/o Sadhu Ram @ Kishan lal r/o A-1733, Jahangir Puri Delhi, orginal resident of vill. Sonati Bujurg Distt. Basti, U.P. aged 25 years, un-married, 12th pass.

TEAM: A team of following police personnel of P.S. Mahendra Park under the close supervision of Sh. Hari Darshan, ACP/Shalimar Bagh was constituted, who worked hard and arrested the notorious cheat.

FOUR HELD IN BROAD DAY LIGHT BANK ROBBERY

With the arrest four persons viz Anil Pant, Mukesh Kumar, Tushar Lal and Bablu Saifi. Anti Auto Theft Squad of East District, Delhi has busted a case of broad daylight Robbery out side Bank near Pacific Mall in Sahibabad Ghaziabad (U.P.)

INCIDENT

On 11/01/2010 Kuldeep along with Rajeev both the employee of Chunmun Store went to deposit 18 lacs rupees in the Punjab National Bank Shahibabad Ghaziabad (U.P.) near Pacific Mall, when they reached near the Bank three Armed persons obstructed them and threw red chilly powder in their eyes and pushed them both are them fail down from the motor cycle all the three assailants fired in the air to terrorized the surrounding peoples and snatched away the bag from Rajeev which was having 18 lacs rupees all the three assailants took their motor cycle also while fleeing away.

After this sensational incident of robbery a team comprising SI Nalin Verma, SI Love Atrey, HC Soma Singh, HC Nazir Hussain, HC Mausham Gani, HC Virender Singh, HC Sanjay, Ct. Sunil, Ct. Jitender, Ct. Mahesh Kumar, Ct. Kushal Pal, Ct. Ishak Mohd., Ct. Balik Ram and Ct. Bijender Sharma under the close supervision of Inspr. Rakesh Dixit. I/C AATS/East District was formed as the similar incidents of robbery have also taken place in Delhi and as the assailants after committing the above daring robbery fled away towards Delhi. Information was gathered from sources and deployed to identified the criminals of such modus operandi several raid were conducted to apprehend the criminals

On 13/01/2010 HC Nazir Hussain of Anti Auto theft Squad Delhi received the specific information that 4 persons Anil Pant, Mukesh Kumar, Tushar Lal and Bablu Saifi who are involved in the above sensational robbery are leaving Delhi and for this purpose are present at Anand Vihar Bus Stand. On this specific tip of the team of AATS/E without wasting time laid a trap at Anand Vihar Bus Stand and apprehended all the four persons.

PROFILE

1. Anil Pant s/o Sh. Govind Ram Pant r/o Flat No. 6, Plot No. 5, Uttranchal Apartments, IP Extn., Delhi. He is Graduate from PGDAV Collage Delhi earlier he was involved in a Kidnapping for ransom case of PS Anand Vihar vide FIR No. 544/2008.

2. Mukesh Kumar s/o Sh. Suraj Prasad r/o A-1025, Sraswati Gali, Gali No. 2 Mandawali Fazalpur, Delhi.

3. Tushar Lal s/o Sh. Vinod Lal r/o –509, IInd Floor West Vinod Nagar, Delhi.

4. Bablu Saifi s/o Sayeed Saifi r/o A-1153, Buddha Marg, Mandawali, Delhi. Earlier he was involved in a Kidnapping for ransom case of PS Anand Vihar vide FIR No. 544/2008.

RECOVERY

1. One lacs forty thousand cash have been recovered from them.

2. Deposit slips of one lacs fifty thousand rupees recovered from Bablu Saifi further recoveries are being made.

3. Rupees one lacs fifty thousand from the possession of Anil Pant

On the intervening night of 31/12/2009 and 01/01/2010 Mr. Sampat, the complainant along with three persons was in his office at X/6116, Dev Block Gali, Gandhi Nagar. They had dinner in their office. Later they woke-up in the morning of 01/01/2010 having dizziness. The office was ransacked, almirahs were open and cash sum of Rs. 11 lacs were missing. Several teams were made to trace out the burglars involved in the incident. A team comprising SI Nalin Verma, SI Love Atrey, SI Ashok Kumar, HC Soma Singh, HC Nazir Hussain, HC Mausham Gani, HC Virender Singh, HC Sanjay, Ct. Sunil, Ct. Jitender, Ct. Mahesh Kumar, Ct. Kushal Pal, Ct. Ishak Mohd., Ct. Balik Ram and Ct. Bijender Sharma under the close supervision of Inspr. Rakesh Dixit. I/C AATS/East District was formed and investigation was taken up.

INVESTIGATION AND ARREST Source were deployed to trace the burglar active in the area of traps were laid at several places. Anti Auto Theft Squad of East District, Delhi got the information that on the intervening night of 31/12/2009 and 01/01/2010 four persons (1). Jawadul Haq @ Raju (2). Sanjay along with their two associates in connivance with the servant of the office Dev Raj @ Uttam @ Kaddu drugged the office staff and ransacked the office and fled away with Rs. 11 lacs. As per the conspiracy servant Dev Raj @ Uttam @ Kaddu prepared dinner for the office staff and mixed sedative drug in the food provided by Jawadul Haq @ Raju. Office staff Sampat, the cashier of the office along with three workers were served the drugged food by the servant Dev Raj @ Uttam @ Kaddu. After having dinner the office staff became unconscious and the servant Dev Raj @ Uttam @ Kaddu opened the door of the office for his associates. In the morning of 01/01/2010 when the office staff and the cashier recovered from the unconsciousness found their office ransacked and Rs. 11 lacs missing.

The team of Anti Auto Theft Squared of East District, Delhi on the tip off apprehended the master mind Jawadul Haq @ Raju and Sanjay and have recovered the Wagnar car which was purchased by Jawadul Haq and Sanjay for 2,50 lacs. Efforts are being made for further recovery and arrest. RECOVERY
