CLASS AAA (St. X. had won the city title; Valley won the county championship.) County championship: Valley 19, Seneca 0 (8-2) Coach: Ron Cain--1

Sat, Nov. 17th Championship (at Manual) St. Xavier 7, Valley 6 (10-2) Coach: Dallas Arnold--11 (9-1) Coach: Johnny Meihaus--11

St. X. blocked a Valley punt with 2:41 to go in the game, picked it up “and sloshed 33 yards for the tying touchdown…then kicked the extra point to win.”

Some regions were divided into two districts…resulting in a few more playoff teams. A & AA finals were played at U.K’s Stoll Field in Lexington Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd

Overall champion: Paducah (Paducah…nor any of its games…were allowed to count in the Division Standings because of a league rule that said you had to play at least four other members of the conference. Tilghman was so strong nobody would schedule them… hence they didn’t get to play at least four conference games.)
