Dear Player Congratulations, you have been invited to attend the Junior Regional Performance Centre (JRPC) training at either Bristol or Exeter.
What you need to do: 1) EHB Online Player System - www.ehbplayersystem.co.uk (THIS IS NOT LINKED UP WITH THE HOCKEY WEST WEBSITE, THEY ARE TWO SEPARATE SITES)
Once you receive an email from the EHB player system, you will need to log back into www.ehbplayersystem.co.uk - Log back into the online player system - check all your personal contact details are correct. - Ensure a recent head and shoulder photo is attached electronically to the registration - You have to accept your upgrade by pressing “Accept” button at the bottom of the registration page. This will upgrade you from JAC to JRPC. - Failure to do this will result in you not getting your player feedback from the coach at the end of the training sessions, and you will not receive all information if you are selected to the Tier 1 and Tier 2 competitions. VERY IMPORTANT !! Print off your player details form from the EHB player system Bring with you to the first training session and hand it to your lead coach, on the first training session. A recent head and shoulder picture must be down loaded onto the player registration form Must be signed by your parent/guardian, (this is your consent to play form) This is our only form of emergency contacts without it *you will be unable to take part in that session *
2) Make a note of the (Dates, Times and Venue) – printable sheet
3) Payment: *2016 JRPC fee is £125.00 for all six training sessions (full payment will need to be paid even if you cannot attend all 6 sessions)
- Payment needs to be made by Cheque - Cheques will need to be made payable to : West Hockey Association - Players name , age group and centre must be written on the back of the cheque. - Please send your cheques to : West Hockey Association 3 Bencross Box Corsham Wiltshire SN13 8PZ
Payment Deadline: Friday 3rd June 2016 4) Code of Conduct - Please read the code of conduct and make sure all players are familiar with it
Useful Information
Training clothing On the first training session, please wear a plain white t-shirt/polo shirt, dark shorts for boys, skorts for girls, and plain white socks. DO NOT wear club/school/international or any other clothing that advertises. JRPC Training shirt will be given to you on your first training session . Please wear it when you receive it.
Equipment Please ensure you also bring all appropriate equipment including shin pads, mouth guards and good footwear for a water based astro pitch. Goalkeepers remember all your kit and check your straps before the day, and bring spares. Everyone to bring a note pad and pen for the education session. During training and matches all players/GK must wear the correct protective equipment.
Weather It may be wet, cold, or hot so bring appropriate clothing to suit all weather conditions, suntan lotion if sunny, a change of clothes for the end of the day is always useful.
Food/drinks You will also need to bring your own refreshments, energy snacks and plenty of fluids for the whole session. (There are no facilities to purchase refreshments on site) Water bottles 1.5ltr minimal would be ideal.
Medication Do not forget any medication (inhalers, insulin, epipens etc)

Centre Transfer - (Subject to availability) All centre transfer must go through the appropriate channel. Closing date for centre transfers: Saturday 28th May 2016 - email the JRPC Administrator – [email protected] stating which centre you need to transfer and the reason for transfer. - Please DO NOT contact other JRPC centres out side of the West region.
JRPC news - any news or changes will be announced on the Hockey West website under news and on Facebook West Hockey Association, please like on Facebook to access the information.
* Please make sure you are picked up promptly at the end of the training session.
