Grading:

The quarter grade for the course will be determined by the following percentage breakdown:

50% Tests/Quizzes 50% Classwork/Homework A: 100-90 B: 89-80 C: 79-70 D: 69-60 F: 59 – 0

The final grade for the course will be determined by the following percentage breakdown: Haverford 3rd Quarter High School – 40% Mathematics Department’s expectations for students:  4th Quarter – 40%  Final Exam/Final Project – 20%

Rules and Expectations:

1. Students are expected to attend classes regularly and be on time. (see Twilight Attendance Policy)

2. Students are expected to be prepared for class everyday with the proper tools necessary for the course.

3. Every student will be expected to demonstrate appropriate self control during each class period.

4. Homework must be clearly attempted every night to receive credit.

5. All students are expected to take daily notes, complete practice problems and participate in class discussions and group work.

6. Missed work and assignments must be made up in a timely manner.

7. It is the student’s responsibility to make arrangements to make up missed tests, quizzes, and projects.
