Conference Stipend Application

Two $85 registration stipends will be awarded to attend the 2008 KY AHEAD Conference at General Butler State Resort Park, May 20-21 (includes dinner banquet on May 20 and breakfast on May 21)

1.) Eligibility:

. Person working in Disability Services at a KY institution of higher learning . OVR or OFB Counselor who has consumers at a KY institution of higher learning . KY high school Special Education Teacher who works with transitioning students or is a Transition Specialist

2.) Criteria for Award: The Membership Development Committee will make awards decisions based on the following criteria:

. Well articulated goals . Professional achievement

3.) Requirements: The applicant is responsible for ensuring that all items are submitted to the Membership Development Committee by Monday, March 31, 4:00 p.m. EST. (Mailed materials must be received by the deadline date.)

. Completed application . Personal statement

5.) Notification: Applicants will be notified of their award status by Friday, April 11. Two, $85 registration stipends will be awarded to allow for attendance at the 2008 KY AHEAD Conference.
