College Policy Information

LECTURE QUIZZES There will be 15 announced lecture quizzes in this class. The dates for the quizzes are listed in the course outline section of this syllabus. Each quiz will count 20 points and will consist of 20 questions that effectively cover the information covered in lecture. Quizzes will be given at the beginning of the class period. MISSED QUIZZES CAN ONLY BE MADE UP IF THE STUDENT PRESENTS A VERIFIABLE EXCUSE FOR THE ABSENCE. Missed quizzes will count as a zero.

CELL PHONE POLICY

Cell phones should be on vibrate and out of sight during class periods. Phones will be completely out of sight on exam days. Texting is forbidden during class time. If you are caught texting, you will be asked to leave on the first offense. On the second offense, you will be turned in to the Dean for academic misconduct!! This policy will be strictly enforced and there will be NO EXCEPTIONS!
