 The ATI testing for grades 2-5 has been completed; AZ Merits testing will be completed in April.

 The budget presented for 2015-16 had only one monitor budgeted. Mrs. Langford received some clarification for this; it is one monitor but for eight hours per day, to be used as needed.

 Teacher of the Year; initially the staff was not going to vote on this because there was no criteria given. But with the big picture presented by Leadership; that the Collier would not be listed in the paper; the staff decided to have the most senior teacher, Mr. Sibbles, attend the function for “Teacher of the Year”.

 No availability for this school year.

 The cost is $125 per session, the more sessions the price is lower plus $285 cost for travel from Phoenix. There is an overnight fee as well. They may move the unit to Tucson for next year then there will be no travel fee. Will plan for the 2015-16 school year.

Mailing of post cards for Collier School Year 2015-16 registration:

 Jennifer Lohse will update the card.

 We will order through the Print Shop with a mail merge for addresses in the 85749 postal code area. Mrs. Lopez will give the proposal to PTA to see if they will pay for this mailing.

 Will wait until the decision has been made for 6th grade at Collier for the fall and add it if necessary. Possibly have the PTA host an Open House Event; Mrs. Lopez will present the idea to them.

Partnership with St. Pius:

 Staff input for St. Pius was that they would like printers in every classroom, would like more monitors at lunch and in the morning, and would like tutors for reading and math.

 The printers would have to match the requirements of the district, less than twenty printers would be required.

 Mrs. Langford would like to invite St. Pius to come to a PTA meeting.

 Fingerprinting will be required for the volunteers of St. Pius. If there are a lot of volunteers, we could check with Human Resources to see if they will come out to the school to have a “Fingerprint Fair”.
