These dedicated players 32 did not disappoint their supporters, and elated Wardlaw fans 33 started making plans to see the team do it again in 2010; and 34 35 Whereas, this crowning victory not only marks the team’s first 36 championship but also caps a superb 232 season for Pinewood, 37 proving the team is a powerhouse to be reckoned with; and 38 39 Whereas, adding further recognition to an already impressive list 40 of accomplishments, the team produced four AllState players, 41 Taylor Darling, Megan Fish, Courtney AngottiSmith, and Kimrey 42 AngottiSmith; and

[4067] 2 1 2 Whereas, the House takes great pleasure in recognizing the young 3 women of the Pinewood Preparatory School girls soccer team for 4 leading with excellence both in the classroom and on the field and 5 expects to hear of continued great achievements in the years ahead. 6 Now, therefore, 7 8 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives: 9 10 That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, 11 by this resolution, recognize and commend the Pinewood 12 Preparatory School girls soccer team for its outstanding season and 13 for capturing the 2009 South Carolina Independent School 14 Association Class AAA State Championship, and honor the team’s 15 exceptional players, coaches, and staff. 16 17 Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be provided to 18 Headmaster Dr. Glyn Cowlishaw and Coach Gail Osborne of 19 Pinewood Preparatory School. 20 XX 21
