Context

Between 2012-14 National Parks, Conservation Boards and AONB Partnerships will be embarking on or completing reviews of statutory Management Plans – As the majority of AONB Partnerships consider the depth and breadth of their review process the NAAONB, working with Europarc Atlantic Isles, are facilitating a two day national workshop to share learning and support practice exchange for protected landscape managers. Day One – 14 November facilitated by NAAONB will focus on current advice/ guidance on management plan review, learning from good practice approaches and integration of management plans with Biodiversity 2020 outcomes;

Day Two – 15 November facilitated by Europarc AI will focus on integration of management plan across marine and coastal protected areas including, marine policy and seascape characterization. (see questionnaire request below*) Both days will include open surgery sessions to deal with participant questions and queries around the management plan process.

A Note about Start Times To accommodate the widest range of participants wishing to take part in all or discrete elements of the workshops we are happy to take a flexible approach to participants joining and leaving the 2 day workshop session – For example day two starts with a review of day one so participants joining specifically for the marine and coastal issues may wish to join us for the 10.30 start.
