Get books on your Kindle from Amazon You will need to know your Amazon account login. Setting up an Amazon account requires an email address and credit card.

1. On your computer, go to listenupvermont.org. 2. Select Sign in on the menu at the top of the page. 3. Type Lawrence Memorial Library and select it from the list. 4. Click on this link “Lawrence Memorial Library Users please click below to sign in.” 5. Enter your 14-digit library card number (without any spaces) and your PIN on the next page. If you do not know your PIN, please contact the library and we will be happy to set a PIN for you. 6. Browse or search for eBook titles. It must be a “Kindle Book.” Note that some Kindle books are available for wireless download, while others require downloading via USB cable.

7. Once you have chosen an available title, select Borrow. 8. Click Download and select Kindle. 9. Click Confirm and Download. 10. You will be redirected to Amazon, which is unaffiliated with the Lawrence Memorial Library. Click the yellow Get Library Book button.

11. Sign in to the Amazon account that your Kindle is linked to. 12. Select the device you want the book delivered to. 13. The book will automatically appear on your device the next time it connects to Wi-Fi, or choose to Download Now when prompted. Connect the Kindle to your computer via USB cable, then click Download.
