Adverbs
Adverbs tell us more about how the verb is performed. They make the verb stronger. Sometimes they are next to the verb. I sat quietly. verb adverb Sometimes the adverb is somewhere else in the sentence. He finished his work carefully. verb adverb

Choose an adverb from the box for each sentence. Write the new sentences out in your literacy book. 1. The Mary Rose was Henry’s favourite warship.
