Requisition Good or Description Method Service Catalog Good Use this requisition method to select items from the catalog. Example: A requisition to corporate express is created for 5 valid catalog items. Favorites Good or As a part of the requisition process, you are able to add commonly used items to your personal list of Service favorite items. Once added to your favorites, you can add this item to all future requisitions from your favorites. If an item is no longer available, a warning message will display. Example: You marked 8.5 X 11 copy paper as a favorite item. Each time you need to request this item, use your list of favorite items to do so. Templates Good or As a part of the requisition process, you can mark complete requisitions as templates. Once marked Service as a personal template, you can use this template each time you want to request similar items in Core-CT. If an item is no longer available, the quantity field will be grayed out and it will not be added to the requisition. Example: Each month you order the same 10 items from Corporate Express. You created your initial requisition and marked it as a template. Each future month you would use the template to create your monthly requisition. Special Good Use this requisition method to request items by description when they are not included in the State Item Catalog of items. These items may be on a state contract or could be a GL71 purchase. Example: A certain type of radial tire is on state contract but not included in the item catalog. Each time you request this item, it must be created by description only.

Fixed Cost Service This requisition method is used when a service is provided in exchange for a fixed fee. The requisition Service is created as a special request for a fixed cost service. Example: A contractor is hired to provide training to your agency. They will complete all necessary training in exchange for $15,000. Variable Service This requisition method is used when a service is provided at a specified rate per hour. The Cost requisition is created as a special request for a variable cost service. Service Example: A plumber is hired to repair a broken water fountain at your agency. They will complete the repair at the rate of $100 per hour. Time and Service This requisition method is used when a requisition is created that will include both time and Materials materials. The requisition is created as a special request for a time and materials service. Example: A mechanic is hired to repair the transmission of an agency vehicle. He will complete the necessary repairs and invoice the agency for parts and labor as separate line items. eProcurement: Requisition Methods
