OFFICE OF THE PRINCIPAL, UTKALMANI GOPABANDHU INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING, ROURKELA-4. Quotation Notice Quotations are invited from suppliers, manufacturers for purchase of tools & equipments, class room furniture, measuring instruments for Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Metallurgy, E&TC, Math & Sc and Ceramic departments of UGIE, Rourkela as per the following requirement. Detail specification of Class Room furniture and other equipments will be available from the concerned dept. by post or person. Interested parties are requested to submit their detail quotations on or before 31.07.2012 by 3.00 PM. The quotation shall be opened on the same day at 4.00 PM. Quotationers or their authorized representatives can attend the opening of quotation. The purchase rate includes the transportation, demonstration & installation of the furniture and the equipments as the case may be. For heavy/sophisticated machines, the suppliers have to arrange the required training of the concerned staff to operate the same. Interested suppliers are requested to submit quotation along with the required EMD (For value more than Rs. One lakh bidders are to deposit EMD @2% of the price quoted which is the bid security) in the shape of B/D drawn in the name of Principal, UGIE, Rourkela payable at Rourkela in any nationalized bank in sealed envelope mentioning on the top of the envelope “Quotation for supply of …………………” by post or by person. EMD of the unsuccessful bidders shall be refunded at the earliest. For machineries/equipments worth Rs. One lakh and more, parties are requested to give technical and financial bids separately. Once technical bid is passed financial bids of the successful bidders shall be opened.
