To become a pilot, you need to pass the training courses at college, or graduate from the airline university. Beside you should take part in some additional training courses to improve and upgrade your knowledge.
What is the importance of proficiency in several languages for a pilot?
It is recommended that every pilot can speak some foreign languages which can help them to keep well communication with the passengers. But in real sometimes the pilot cannot speak foreign languages fluently so in some statistic report mentioned that at least the private pilot should have enough English to understand control tower while other pilots can communicate with foreigners by foreign languages as much as possible.
Pilots have many simultaneous responsibilities during flight. What can you tell me about this?
During the flying time, the pilots have to deal with many tasks at the same time. The pilots are the person who navigate the flight schedule, observe and direct the crew’s activities, check and applying the instruction in flight. Beside they also have to check weather condition and give suitable solutions with each case. In addition, they also have to monitor altitude and air traffic. These simultaneously tasks are very difficult and stressful so the pilot is required of outstanding multi- tasking skills and high concentration ability.
How would you behave as the pilot of a plane during an emergency?
Answer: Describe first what your emotional response would be. In the interview the chance to become a pilot is coming near to you if you can give a clear well example with the detail preferable demonstration of pilot tasks. Let them see that you can keep your mind be stable and poise; you can persuade all members in the crew follow your instructions even in the hard situation such as emergency procedures.
Did you ever have to modify the flight course in the past?
Answer: Pilots are able to modify the course in flight, if this is dictated by internal or external conditions. Because this is very critical decision and you need to consider carefully each item by discussing with the control towers before making decision.

1. Pilot technical interview
During the interview, through your answers, the interviewers will evaluate your preparation of pilot position. This is not only the preparation for the interviews but also is your spirit for the current job. Almost the interviewers are the members of flight crew and they will continuously ask you the questions in different level of difficulties: from easy to difficult, from simple to complicated. This is the best way to check your knowledge, technical skills of reasoning and judgment. If you have well preparation, you can give well answers for any questions. In some cases if you can not answer the questions from the interviewers, let it be a check ride instead of making an answer. The best way for you in this case is to look at them and honestly tell them that you don’t know the answer their questions. It is very important for you to know well about all the regulations and operations of pilot job. The questions are almost focused on the current situation of airline such as aircraft you have mist recently flown and have the most time in. 2. HR Interview
The person who is in charge of interviewing the applicants for the human resources is non pilot personnel or management pilot. During the interview, they will give the questions for the applicants and then they will decide whether you are the suitable staff and coworker or not. This is the decision of choosing the best person enjoying the flight with them later. So this is a good opportunity for you to sell yourself.
