ST STEPHEN-IN-BRANNEL PARISH COUNCIL

Minutes of the meeting of the Planning Committee held in the Brannel Room, Fore Street, St Stephen on Wednesday 15 June 2016 commencing at 7.45pm.

Present: Chair: Cllr Hatton Vice Chair: Cllr Hallett Messrs: Cllrs McLening (Substitute), Phillips, Sibley, Simpson and Wonnacott MBE Madams: Cllr Mrs Wonnacott

In Attendance: Linda Ranger – Deputy Clerk.

Cllr Hatton advised everyone present that, if they intended to participate in the meeting, they could be recorded, photographed, filmed or otherwise reported about.

P58/16 Apologies: It was RESOLVED to accept apologies from Cllr Davey.

P59/16 Declarations of Interest: None.

P60/16 Dispensation Requests: None.

P61/16 Public Participation: There were no members of the public present.

P62/16 Previous Meeting Minutes: It was RESOLVED that the minutes of the ordinary meeting held on Wednesday 25 May 2016 be signed as a true and accurate record.

P63/16 Matters Arising: 56/16 – Cllrs Sibley and Mrs Wonnacott advised that no response had been sent.

P64/16 Planning Applications: The following Planning Application was considered -

16/04509 Starhyskys, Dowgas, Coombe Removal of condition 3 attached to planning decision 15/04186 dated 4/8/16 (Proposed garage/store to store car/touring caravan) RESOLVED: Object. The removal of condition 3 would be contrary to the aims of intentions of paragraph 55 of the National Planning Policy Framework 2012.

P65/16 Planning Decisions : The following Planning Decisions were received:

Application Address SSPC CC 16/02638 Higher Pennance Farm, Grampound Rd, Support Granted Truro 16/03789 Trethosa Farm, Trethosa Support as no Granted objections 16/01876 Gilleys Mica Dam, New Rd, Roche Support as no Granted objections 17/16 P66/16 To Receive Correspondence: None

P67/16 Creakavose Park, St Stephen: Mrs Ranger advised Members that, for various reasons, phase two of Creakavose Park, St Stephen still had not been adopted. It was RESOLVED that, as the documentation should be signed within the next 6 weeks, no further action should be taken at this moment in time.

Cllr Simpson left the meeting at 8.15pm.

P68/16 Information and Answers: 1) Cllr Phillips gave an update on the problems with fly-tipping in Nanpean. 2) Cllr Sibley asked Cllr Hatton to pass on his Thanks for the organising of the Whitemoor event. 3) Cllr Mrs Wonnacott gave an update on the site next to Jenna Cottage, Little Treviscoe.
