MARIE BRUCE ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP FOR GREEKS

Application Form and Guidelines 2007-2008

Student Leadership Development & Service-Learning is accepting applications for the Marie Bruce Organizational Leadership Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to the leader of a Fraternity or Sorority who best exemplifies:  Traits of leadership,  Traits of scholarship, and  Service to Minnesota State University, Mankato

The scholarship is open to a student who:  Is a sophomore or junior who will be enrolled at MSU for the fall semester,  Holds a major unpaid leadership position on campus,  Is in good standing with the University,  Has a minimum grade point average of 3.0, and  Is an active member in a fraternity or sorority at MSU

Students who are interested in this scholarship need to submit an application, a one page statement describing what being a student leader has meant to you, and two letters of reference.

The scholarship winner will be announced and recognized at the Spring Leadership Awards Ceremony on Sunday, April 27, 2008 at 5:00 pm in the Centennial Student Union Ballroom.

Applicants must complete the attached form and have two letters of reference returned by noon on Friday, April 18, 2008 to Student Leadership Development & Service-Learning @ CSU 173 or emailed to [email protected].
