Tournament Details

Date: Saturday May, 3 2014 at CRBI’s WATERFEST, Ridge Ferry Park in Rome, GA Check in & Registration: 7:00 a.m – at Ridge Ferry Park Begin Fishing: 8:00 a.m. – on the Etowah, Coosa & Oostanaula Rivers Weigh-In & Awards: 4:00 p.m. – at Ridge Ferry Park Registration Fee: $50 – includes an event t-shirt and scale Big Fish Bet (optional): $10 to participate; angler with the Big Fish (heaviest fish) wins the pot

Tournament Rules

 Participants must possess a smart phone to take photos of each caught fish; these photos must then be sent via text message to the tournament director who will record the measurements and determine the tournament winner(s)  There is a five (5) fish limit; each fish must be photographed with appropriate tag identifying it as Fish 1, Fish 2, etc.  Only artificial lures will be allowed  Only two (2) rods will be allowed per angler  No motors will be allowed  Participants must be 18 years of age or older on May 3, 2014  Participants must wear a Personal Floatation Device at all times  Participants will be provided with the following materials: o Measuring board for measuring the length of each caught fish o Five (5) numbered, color coded tags that must be visible in the photo of each fish o The measuring board and tags must be returned to the tournament director at the time of weigh-in; if any of these materials are lost and not returned to the tournament director at the time of weigh-in, the participant will be disqualified.  The winner of the tournament will be determined based on the total measurement (length) of all five (5) photographed fish; Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers  Participants will also be provided with a scale (which they will be allowed to keep) and will be allowed to weigh one (1) fish as an entry into the Big Fish Bet; the participant must take a photo of this measurement and send it via text message to the tournament director for consideration; the participant with the heaviest recorded fish will win the Big Fish Bet and will win the total prize money (based on participants)  Participants must arrive at weigh-in and turn in their materials by 4:00 p.m. sharp; for each minute that a participant is late to weigh-in, a one (1) inch penalty will be applied to their total score – for example, if a participant arrives at 4:10 p.m. a 10 inch penalty will be applied; No entries will be accepted after 4:30 p.m.
