DESCRIPTION: Slate Savers Seam Sealing Tape is a pressure sensitive, elastomeric modified butyl rubber backed with Dupont Sontara Fabric.

USAGE: Sealing seams in built in gutters and metal roofs and as a base over corrosion, pin holes and fastener heads.

Appearance: Grayish-white fabric with gray adhesive/sealant.

APPLICATION

Application: Clean – surface of dust, dirt, moisture, and contamination. Peel off release liner. Apply exactly in position the first time. Trying to remove may damage tape and roof. DO NOT

Flashing and Repair Tape – Page 1 STRETCH. Press down firmly starting in the center working toward the outside edge, removing bubbles. Use a steel roller for best results. Edges must have no openings, tunnels, or fishmouths. Exposed areas should be coated with Slate Savers Liquid Metal or Liquid Rubber after application. Do not apply in surface temperature below 35F and above 110F.
