Puppy Purchase Deposit Contract

Puppy Purchase Deposit Contract

Breeder: Brenda Hoskins 6541 County Rd 21 Alliston Ont. L9R 1V2 705-424-2423

This DEPOSIT CONTRACT (hereinafter CONTRACT) is effective when signed below by both Seller (whether singular or plural) and applicant (whether singular or plural).

The full purchase price of a HHC puppy starts at $1000.00 and goes up according to the size and quality of each puppy at 8 weeks of age. . The price of each puppy is determined solely by the quality of each individual dog at the time of evaluation by the breeder between 7 and 8 weeks of age. We do not price our puppies based on colour or gender, only on quality. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

The application fee for a puppy is $200.00. In the case where this fee has been paid by cheque and the cheque is returned N.S.F. the applicant shall replace the payment in cash and pay to Brenda Hoskins an additional $50.00 for service charges incurred. Failure to make such payment shall void the application and the applicant(s) shall no longer be considered for a puppy. Final payment shall be in cash, money order, direct deposit or email money transfer prior to the puppy leaving.

Price of pup does not include Health certificate , Air Fare, or Crate Cost

The deposit is a Promise to buy a puppy and a Promise to hold a puppy until 8 weeks of age.

The applicant understands that the application fee is NON-REFUNDABLE if a puppy meeting their needs is available within the specified time outlined in the contract below. Should the applicant decide not to be considered for the puppy offered by the breeder, the applicant forfeits his/her application fee. Such reasons may be that a different breeder has puppies available sooner, or in a more desirable coat color or pattern.

The applicant understands that the puppies are placed first based on their quality and personality, not necessarily in the order in which application fees are received. Applicant understands that the breeder places puppies in homes which are the best homes for the puppy as well as the breeder. Applicant understands that “Show” homes receive first priority and “Performance” homes receive second priority over “pet” homes regardless of the order received. The more our puppies are out in the world being seen, the better it is for both the breed and the breeder. The breeder reserves the right to choose the puppy for the applicant. The breeder reserves the right to not place any puppy with the applicant should the breeder feel that the applicant cannot provide a suitable home. Such decision may result from, but is not limited to, occasion where the applicant has given false information to the breeder, or applicant has an extreme request that the breeder feels they could not fulfill in a reasonable amount of time. In the case where the breeder chooses not to place a puppy with the applicant, the breeder shall refund the application fee when the next litter of puppies are placed in their new homes.

Visitation of puppies shall not occur before the puppies are two weeks old. Visitation is by appointment only and is at the discretion of the breeder (dependent on the health and comfort of the mother and her puppies). Puppies shall be handled at the discretion of the breeder. Parents must ensure that children are supervised at all times, and that the mother and puppies are treated kindly and carefully. Adverse behaviour will result in termination of visitations, and possible refusal to sell buyer a puppy. (deposit would be refunded under these conditions)

Puppies will not be released to new homes until the minimum age of 8 weeks. Puppies being shipped via airline will be held back until 10-12 weeks of age. Puppies being shipped via airline will be charged for the purchase of a suitable sized crate, health certificate, flight arrangements and transportation to airport. Flight costs will be paid by buyer according to the current fees and prior to the puppy being shipped. Buyer will also be charged for additional vaccinations and veterinary costs if needed.

All flight arrangements will be made by the breeder and not by the applicant. Breeder will only fly puppies under safe circumstances. If the circumstances are unsafe, such as the cargo bay not having temperature control, the puppy will not be shipped via airline and alternate arrangements will have to be made to transport the puppy to its new home.

PLEASE NOTE: Aussies come in many color patterns. We do not guarantee to have or place puppies based on markings. If you request a black puppy and one is born it may or may not have white and copper markings. If colour or markings are an important issue, please state it clearly in writing. This will likely lengthen the time it takes to match you with a puppy. A generic deposit is good for 12 months from the date it is received/accepted. A specific deposit for colour or gender will be good for 30 months from the day it is accepted. At the end of the deposit period you may either re-sign the deposit form at no cost to renew the form or you may choose to cancel the deposit and request your money back. Money will be refunded when next litter is sold.

Show/Breeding Quality:

We feel these pups are exceptional examples of the breed. There are no disqualifying faults affecting their suitability for showing or breeding. They may be sold with full registration papers to other established breeders. They are also sold on alter contracts as pets. These puppies cost more than a pet quality puppy and come with a different contract if sold for show or breeding.

Pet/Performance/Companion Quality:

We consider these pups to be not as correct as show quality. These pups are physically sound and make wonderful companions, but are not show or breeding quality. They are always sold with limited registration meaning that offspring will not be eligible for registration. These pups are always sold on Spay/Neuter contracts. No exceptions

************************************************************************************ Below is page three, the page where you will explain to us what you are looking for in a puppy. Please be as specific as possible. If you need to add a page, write on the back etc, please feel free to do so. We do not turn applications away due to specific needs in colour, gender or markings. The more specific your needs are, the longer the wait may be. However the more clear we can be in our communications, the easier it will be to work together to find you the best puppy possible.
