Sales Associate

Overview of Position: The Sales Associate’s primary responsibility is to provide quality customer service in a friendly, accommodating and timely manner. The Sales Associate will also focus on selling, floor maintenance and merchandising.

Key Accountabilities:  Maintains selling as the priority  Demonstrates excellent customer service skills  Provides product knowledge to our customers  Works as part of a team to meet individual and store objectives  Be aware of any back stock and replenish sales floor as needed  Floor coverage flexibility; is visible on the selling floor  Knows and properly executes POS procedures to ensure a quick transaction  Effectively handles multiple customers  Practices suggestive selling  Communicates effectively with associates and management  Maintain professional attitude  Willingness to locate requested merchandise by calling other store and/or taking special orders  Thanking customers by name whenever possible  Package merchandise with care  Shortage awareness

Skills Summary: The Sales Associate should be outgoing, possess energy, and exhibit the ability to handle multiple tasks, while maintaining a positive attitude.
