Our Mission The mission of the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association (OGCMA), rooted in its Methodist heritage, is to provide opportunities for spiritual birth, growth, and renewal through worship, education, cultural and recreational activities in a Christian seaside setting.

Position: Program Director Department: Program Reports to: Executive Director/COO Part- or Full- Time: Full Time

Summary: The Program Director is responsible for supervising, promoting and expanding current worship services, events and activities of the OGCMA; establishing and building relationships with partner individuals, churches and organizations; and developing new programs and events to further our mission.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 Implement the programs and events of the OGCMA as directed by the Program Committee.  Support programs for youth ministry, youth dramatics, music ministries, the beach, and Saturday night entertainment.  Supervise marketing, the box office, and programmatic components of the HUB.  Implement the necessary systems to evaluate our programming and make recommendations for improvements.  Coordinate all program invitations extended, contracts and scheduling and follow up contacts.  Work within the budget process and financial procedures.  Serve as a point of contact and respond to all inquiries as they relate to Program.  Provide spiritual leadership to our guests and constituents both individually and through the programming presented to them.

Specific Job Functions:

 Create and coordinate quality programming for our calendar of events.  Make sure all program contracts are in place (music, youth, Saturday night, etc.)  Work with COO, Program Chair and President to select preachers and Bible teachers and invite/book for Sunday Services, Bible Hour and special events.  Coordinate Camp Meeting Week Communion Service  Proofread bulletins and ensure proper presentation on screens.  Coordinate 4th of July Parade  Hospitality and transportation coordination  Oversee production of Program Booklet  Oversee advertising and marketing efforts  Maintain a regular schedule of contact for networking purposes with local pastors/churches, summer speakers and Bible Hour teachers, community groups, ministry organizations, etc.  Develop and oversee production of marketing and publicity to promote OGCMA events making best use of budget allowances.  Provide the administrative function to the Program Department including, but not limited to correspondence, committee and board meeting prep and attendance, staff hiring and review and budgetary oversight.  Maintain all Program related statistics  Fill various duties and responsibilities as requested by Program Committee Chair and Executive Director/COO.

Preferred Education and Experience Requirements:

 Bachelor's degree required.  Experience in a church or non-profit organization in program development and coordination.
