1. Open the User Info PDF in the Banners Folder

User Info Process

1. Open the User Info PDF in the Banners folder.

a. S:\Graphics\BANNERS - CARMAIL & MENUS

b. Named: User Info.pdf

2. Pull any information you can from the dealership’s website and fill in the blanks on the User Info PDF.

3. Call the Service Manager or contact assigned to the dealer to verify the information. (*You can verify with anyone in the service department if ^ is unavailable.)

4. Enter your name and the person you verified the information with at the bottom of the User Info PDF.

5. Save the document in the banners folder, by dealer name.

a. If a folder for that dealer has not been made make a new one by naming it (Extract# - Dealer Name: 3236 – Wake Forest Toyota)

6. Attach the document to the User Info tracker assigned to you.

7. Search the dealer’s open trackers.

a. Find the Custom Graphic tracker assigned to Mike Hong and open.

b. Attached the User Info PDF and send to Mike letting him know you have attached it.

c. He will make the banners for you.

8. Search the dealer in dealer profiler and open CaRMail.

9. Click on the Edit Dealer Info page.

**DO NOT EXIT OUT OF THIS PAGE. IT WILL LOCK YOU OUT FOR 30 MINUTES,

MAKE SURE TO HIT THE CLOSE BUTTON** 10. Fill out all the information from the User Info PDF.

a. If multiple brand dealer (Rosenthal Jag/LR) and have different phone numbers and websites for each do not include “|” (972-488-0393 | 972-488- 0395) This will screw up the merge fields. Must have one number/website for both locations in this table.

b. Appt Phone & Service Phone can be the same.

c. Select the Distributor drop down and select the assigned Distributor from sales order.

e. Leave FTP Info blank – unless noted

f. Add the Service Manager’s name to Serv Mgt:

g. Add the Service Manager’s email to Return Email & Email Distribution. h. Select the dealers Time Zone for DynaCall purposes.

i. If there is a special note on the sales order the code will need to be entered in to the Dealer Notes section as well.

11. On the Next Page you will select the Primary Zips, Last XX Vehicle Years, & Primary Makes.

a. Primary Zips: Include any 3 digit SCF’s that have 50 or more VINs.

b. Last Vehicle Years: 15

c. Primary Makes: Main Manufacturer

i. SAVE INFORMATION UNTIL MIKE HONG COMPLETES THE BANNERS

12. Once Mike Hong has built the banners he will assign the Custom Graphic tracker to you and give you a print out to proof. Verify the information matches the User Info PDF.

13. If everything is correct, note in the Custom Graphic tracker “Approved”, close and reassign it back to Mike. (So it tracks him as completing it)

14. Open the Edit Dealer Info page again

15. Click next to upload the banners and coupon logos.

16. Click the upload icon to upload banners. *You will only do this once for both the PC & Email banner. 17. Click Browse on PostCard Banner

Go the Banners folder and in the assigned dealer folder find the _PC banner

S:\Graphics\BANNERS - CARMAIL & MENUS

18. Repeat for the Matching Email Banner: _E banner

19. Once both files have been uploaded click Load

20. Click the Upload Icon to upload the Coupon Logos

21. Click on Browse and find the BG logos and manufacturer logos in these folder.

a. MANUFACTURER LOGOS: S:\CaRMail\_Wizard\CaRMail Wizard Implementation Jan08\Graphics\Wizard cpn Logos

b. BG LOGOS: S:\CaRMail\_Wizard\CaRMail Wizard Implementation Jan08\Graphics\Wizard cpn Logos\BG Cpn Logos

c. Repeat steps after each logo has been uploaded 22. Save Dealer Info page once you have uploaded banners and logos.

24. Click on the Multi-VIN page next.

25. This page is to exclude businesses and customers with 10 or more VINs associated with one name.

a. Display customers with a minimum of ___ vehicles: Change the 3 to 10 and hit go

b. Select Check All

c. Change the 10 to 2 and hit Go!

d. Scroll down and find any business names and click the check box to exclude them.

e. ***EVERY 10 MINUTES REMEMBER WHERE YOU ARE AND SCROLL BACK TO THE TOP AND CLICK UPDATE. THIS PAGE CAN TIME OUT AND YOU WILL LOSE ANY WORK YOU HAVE NOT SAVED!!***

f. Exit when you have completed going through all the customers.
