Top Ten List: Functional Advice to Give Parents Regarding Problem Behavior at Home Presented by: Robert K. Ross, Ed.D., BCBA-D Senior Vice President of Curriculum and Research at BEACON Services

This workshop will identify and discuss specific strategies that can be given to/taught to teachers and parents and to aid them in managing and decreasing the occurrence of challenging behavior in child care settings, home, and in the community. In addition, participants will be taught methods of providing instruction and assistance to children who benefit from different learning styles (e.g., Non- verbal Language Disorders, Central Auditory Processing problems, and Visual learning strengths). The presentation is structured in form of a "David Letterman" Top ten list and is presented in humorous style with lots of real life examples.
