What is an accident? Unplanned, unfortunate and unintended event that results in causing someone or something harm, injury or illness

12 Segment 7 – Emergencies

Bring all residents into a central area as far away from the spillage as possible 4. Ensure all residents and staff are accounted for 5. Seal off all window and doors with blankets, sheets etc 6. Ring the manager as soon as practicable 7. Await instructions from Emergency Services

What should you do if there is a chemical spillage inside the building? 1. Evacuate Residents close to spill 2. Dial 111 3. Seal off the spill area and try to restrict the spreading of fumes 4.
