1) Introduce students to information technology by watching the video What is Information Technology: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9CF2JgmD3o
a. Have students answer the following questions while watching the video:
a.i. Write the definition of information technology in your own words a.ii. Use the concept of information technology to describe how it can help you procure food.

Next, map the steps it takes to place the order, and explain how it will physically get to your house.

2) For each word above, describe how it would be involved with the process of a pair of shoes being made in China and being transported to a store near your house.
Evaluation / Summary
Have students create a fictitious business, and then develop a presentation, movie, or poster that define the following:
What product or service will the business offer?
In what format will the business offer these products or services?
How will the business source or deliver these products or services to customers?
How will the business identify and develop a customer base? How will the business handle inventory?
How will the business handle cash flow management?
How will the business plan for future growth?
