Converting Flip Video to a .WMV File

Go to this web page and download the http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free Free Any Video Converter Software. Install and run the software.

1. Click on Add Video.

2. Make sure the Flip camera, is plugged in, click on My Computer then click on Flipvideo.

3. Double Click on the DCIM Folder.

4. Click on the 100Video Folder. (It may be named something else.)

5. Here are all your video clips in the Flip Camera. Right click anywhere in the window, select View and then select Thumbnails.

6. Now that you have a thumbnail view it’s easier to see what’s in each clip. You may select just one video or CTRL + Click and choose multiple clips.

7. Beneath the Video Options Menu you may change the Frame Size. It’s best to set Frame Size to Original.

8. Click the drop down arrow to the right of Profile.

Select the video format you’d like to use. Most users of Movie Maker will select Customized WMV Movie (*.wmv)

9. Click Convert to start the video conversion.

Depending on the size and number of files this may take a while.

If you click the Output Folder button you’ll get a popup that shows the files you’ve converted and their location.
