AMENDMENT NUMBER 1 TO THE BID DOCUMENTS Amendment Date: January 12, 2006

BID DOCUMENT NUMBER 1019 DISTRICT-WIDE IDENTITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A. This Amendment shall be considered part of the bid documents for the above-mentioned project as though it had been issued at the same time and shall be incorporated integrally therewith. Where provisions of the following supplementary data differ from those of the original bid documents, this Amendment shall govern and take precedence. BIDDERS MUST SIGN THE AMENDMENT AND SUBMIT IT WITH THEIR BIDS.

B. Bidders are hereby notified that they shall make any necessary adjustments in their estimates as a result of this Amendment. It will be construed that each bidder's proposal is submitted with full knowledge of all modifications and supplemental data specified herein.

Except as described below, the original bid document remains unchanged. The bid documents are modified and/or clarified, as follows:

1. Mandatory Pre-bid Conference: In order to become eligible to submit a bid, all prospective bidders are required to send a representative to the mandatory pre-bid conference on January 31, 2006, 2:00 p.m. The mandatory pre-bid conference will take place in the District Board Room located in the District Offices at 12345 El Monte Road, Los Altos Hills, CA 94022 on the Foothill College campus. It is recommended that participants park in Lot 1 near the El Monte entrance to the college or Lot 1H on the other side of the stadium. Due to parking regulations, it will be necessary to buy a visitor parking permit for $2.00 (8 quarters) from the vending machine in the parking lot. From Lot 1, it is a short walk to the District Offices, Building D120 (see the attached map). Please print and bring a hard copy of the document with you to the pre-bid conference so that you can follow along with the presentation.
