GATE A3 JETBRIDGE IMPROVEMENTS B.G.A. PROJECT NO. 1801

SEALED BIDS for the Gate A3 Jetbridge Improvements and other incidental items will be received by the LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY AIRPORT BOARD (hereinafter referred to as “LFUCAB”) in the Director of Engineering and Maintenance’s Office until and not later than 2:00 P.M. Local Time on the 6th day of February 2018, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Airport Terminal Building, Board Room.

THE PROJECT consists of the purchase and installing a new Ground Power Unit and installing an existing Pre-Conditioned Air Unit on the passenger boarding bridge A3 at Blue Grass Airport.

THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS (Drawings, Specifications, Bid Forms, etc.) may be purchased at the following location: Lynn Imaging, 328 Old Vine Street, Lexington, KY 40507, 859-225-1021, www.lynnimaging.com.

Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained upon deposit of $50.00 for each set, by company check made payable to Lynn Imaging, No refunds will be given for returned sets.

A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be conducted on Tuesday, January 30th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. local time in the Airport Board Room, Second Floor, Terminal Building, Blue Grass Airport. Attendance is not mandatory.

TITLE VI SOLICITATION NOTICE. LFUCAB, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that for any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprise will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.

RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS. The LFUCAB proposes to award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder, provided it has met the goals for DBE participation or, if failing to meet the goals, has made an acceptable good faith effort to meet the established goals for the DBE participation. Bidder is advised that LFUCAB reserves the right to reject any and all Bids submitted, to waive any and all informalities, irregularities and/or technicalities in any Bid or Bid Guaranty, to accept any Bid deemed advantageous to it; and, to negotiate changes, deletions, or additions to these Contract Documents with the successful Bidder.

Bids must be submitted on the standard form of Bid Proposal, and the successful BIDDER will be required to execute the Standard Form of Contract.
