Middle School Uniform Code

MIDDLE SCHOOL UNIFORM CODE 2011-2012

Fall/Spring Uniform Required: Skirt: Light blue or light green kilt purchased through Flynn & O’Hara. Skirt length is to be no shorter than 6 inches above the center of the knee. (Cotton navy, black or gray shorts may be worn under skirts.)

Shirt: White, navy, pastel pink, pastel blue or yellow collared polo. No logo or color details. All shirts must have a collar. If a student wishes to wear a tee-shirt or camisole (no lace) beneath her collard shirt, it must be the same color as the polo. Polo shirts should be appropriately buttoned up.

A choice of School sweater, sweatshirt, or fleece for warmth:

Sweater: Navy blue sweater purchased from Flynn & O’Hara, with School logo Sweatshirt or Fleece: Holy Child only school sweatshirts, sweaters, and fleeces may be worn Socks: White or navy blue Tights: Navy, black, or natural Leggings: Navy or black ankle length. No capri length. Shoes: White sneakers, white laces only; no boots

WINTER UNIFORM Required: Skirt: Gray uniform kilt purchased through Flynn & O’Hara. Skirt length is to be no shorter than 6 inches above the center of the knee. (Cotton navy, black or gray shorts may be worn under skirts.)

Shirt: White or navy cotton turtle neck, or white, navy, pastel pink, pastel blue or yellow collared polo. No logo or color details. All shirts must have a collar. If a student wishes to wear a tee-shirt or camisole (no lace) beneath her collard shirt, it must be the same color as the polo. Polo shirts should be appropriately buttoned up.

A choice of School sweater, sweatshirt, or fleece for warmth:

Optional: Pants: Navy blue corduroy or navy blue cotton, classic style.

Additional Comments:  No jewelry, except one, small modest neck chain, small earrings and a watch.  Athletic Wear is purchased at Holy Child; long and short sleeve tee shirts, and sweatpants, may only be worn for physical education classes, athletics, and to games.  Students NAME should be in all uniform items. This is the only way we can return lost items.
