3rd Students International Geological Conference Lviv, Ukraine April 27 – 30, 2012

Dear Colleagues,

Department of Geology of Lviv Ivan Franko National University would like to invite you to take part in the 3rd Students International Geological Conference, which will be held in Lviv (Ukraine) in April, 2012. The aim of this conference is: 1) to continue the traditions of the 1st International Students Geological Conference held in Krakow (Poland) in April, 2010 and 2nd International Students Geological Conference in Sigulda (Latvia) in April-May 2011; 2) to discuss the results of the investigations of geology students from various countries. The conference will include scientific sessions and field trips to the most exciting geological objects of Ukraine. The oral presentations are planned in few parallel sessions and will be accompanied by poster presentations.

Oral presentations Oral presentation — 20 min. (15 min. + 5 min. questions and discussion). Organizers provide all the necessary equipment for poster presentation (computers, projectors, etc.).

Poster Presentations

Poster size — 75 x 110 cm (portrait orientation). Participants will be provided with equipment for mounting posters on stands.

Conference publications Proceedings will be published beforehand the Conference. Please follow the design requirements for materials.
