1 [4180] 1 1 meter relay and the high jump, and performing well in the pole 2 vault, hurdles, and the 800, 1600, and 3200 meter running events; 3 and 4 5 Whereas, the state title ultimately came down to the last event, the 6 4 by 400 meter relay, in which Bishop England placed third and 7 sealed the championship title for the fifth year in a row; and 8 9 Whereas, these awesome athletes include Chrissy Dombrowski, 10 Brittney Stadelman, Carrie Luhn, Sarah Stein, Jessica Cumbee, 11 Amanda Cortes, Charlotte Coste, Jessica Quinlan, April Mollard, 12 Krissy Kenny, Leah Burton, Hayden Knight, Molly Thayer, Riley 13 Csernica, Ashley Tucker, Natalie Swavely, Hollen Dodds, 14 Shannon Graham, and Shelby Carter; and 15 16 Whereas, the incredible success celebrated by the Bishop England 17 Team is due in large part to the motivation and tireless leadership 18 provided by Head Coaches Tony Colizzi and Mike Arney, and 19 Assistant Coaches Laurie Borden, Katie Bus, Mike Kenny, Beth 20 Tarkany, and Greg Yvars; and 21 22 Whereas, it is with great pride that the members of the General 23 Assembly commend the team and coaches for the many hours of 24 blood, sweat, and tears given in love of the sport, and wish its 25 players all the best in future competition. Now, therefore, 26 27 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate 28 concurring: 29 30 That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South 31 Carolina, by this resolution, congratulate the Bishop England High 32 School Girls Track and Field Team of Charleston on its impressive 33 Class AA State Championship title and honor the players and their 34 coaches on another extraordinary season. 35 36 Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to 37 the Bishop England High School Girls Track and Field Team. 38 ----XX---- 39
