Overall Aims to meet the sports premium criteria

To Increase Participation In Sports and PE and Develop Healthy Life Styles by:

 Improve the quality of teaching and learning  Increase opportunities for extra-curricular activities  Improve activity levels  Improve subject knowledge and confidence in primary PE  Increase expectations

Main Performance Indicators (expressed in terms of impact on pupil’s learning/progress where possible)

Achievement of Pupils to reach age related expectations pupils 80% of non-swimmers in key stage 2 to achieve 25m badge by the end of the year Pupils to have a good understanding of how activity supports them to have a healthy lifestyle Quality of Teachers develop their teaching of PE and enthuse pupils teaching Teachers teach high quality PE lessons Behaviour and Pupils are engaged in PE lessons and demonstrate age appropriate level of understanding and skill safety of pupils Pupils co-operate in competitive situations Quality of Develop staff’s skills in teaching high quality PE lessons leadership and Effectively use assessment to ensure 50% of non-swimmers learn to swim management
