The Corporate Access to Information Coordinator is looking for an enthusiastic, hard- working individual to provide her with administrative support with the processing of formal requests for information and also complaint handling.

Ideally you will have an understanding of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Data Protection Act 1998 and will have previous experience working in a customer facing role.

You should have a good working knowledge of Word & Excel, plus excellent level of literacy as you will be required to communicate with members of the public, drafting replies to their enquiries and complaints, often on behalf of senior managers and Members. You should be able to prioritise and organise a busy workload to ensure KCC meets statutory deadlines and corporate timescales.
