We are currently looking for a passionate, professional Training Specialist to develop and facilitate training and culture programs for our leadership and front line staff in our hospitals and other work sites in the South Puget Sound. Our ideal candidate will have experience with ADDIE, building a culture of engagement, along with strong relationship building, collaborating and problem solving skills. JOB SUMMARY

In collaboration with Manager, develops, delivers, coordinates and maintains management and leadership development programs, including, but not limited to, Management skills, Human Resources skills and Leadership skill training.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  Develops, in collaboration with the Manager and other subject matter experts, training programs which pertain to human resources and leadership skill development.  Searches, evaluates and selects consultants and trainers to conduct training programs on specific topics.  Delivers human resources and leadership skill development training modules for FHS Leaders.  Assists the Manager with the assessment and prioritization of requests for organizational development projects.  Evaluates and measures the effectiveness of training and development programs.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Work Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Human Resources or related field and two (2) continuous years of progressively responsible experience in organizational development and/or training & development that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities required. Two years’ experience in employee relations strongly preferred. PHR/SPHR and/or CPLP certification preferred.

Or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

Licensure/Certification  PHR/SPHR and/or CPLP certification preferred.
