PERFORMANCE RIDER FOR STAGE HYPNOTIST xxxxxx

Purchaser shall provide, at purchaser’s expense, the following:

1. Stage: (Indoors): Stage size minimum requirement: 20’ x 12’ STABLE RISER (must be backed up to wall for the safety of the participants). If stage is over 12” high, provide stairs that lead directly into the audience from the front of the stage. The performance area must be clear of obstructions such as podiums, cables, speakers, band, or DJ equipment.

2. No less than fifteen (15) armless chairs available to Artist with adequate space on stage to accommodate them. The armless chairs are to be arranged on stage side by side, facing the audience, with enough room to move behind.

3. Front row of chairs in audience should be 6’ from the stage.

4. SOUND SYSTEM: Quality system in perfect working condition, suitable for both speaking and music, including the following: A. Two speakers placed at each side of stage B. Two speaker monitors which face the volunteers are a must. Volunteers must hear the hypnotist. B. One hand held microphone with a stand making sure cord is long enough to reach all the chairs. C. One hand-held wireless microphone with new battery. D. A spare channel in the amp (XLR or ¼ inch) for a customized mini disk player provided by Artist. E. Two available power supplies near the sound system or with an extension to reach the area where sound will be controlled.

Important: In-house PA systems with speakers mounted in the ceiling usually cannot handle the music and sound requirements for this show. If you have any concerns, please contact your agent or Artist to make other arrangements.

5. A sound technician/DJ must be made available one hour prior and during show to assist in running music cues.

6. LIGHTING: Both a well lit stage and adjustable “house lights” are required. For a more theatrical look, use lights on tripods (easily rented). This will create a much better “nightclub” atmosphere and make for a better show.

7. Remind client that drinking of alcohol prior to the performance can affect the subjects concentration. The ability for someone to concentrate, focus, and relax are the components to a successful hypnosis show.

8. Provide 6’ or 8’ banquet table and a chair to be placed on floor to Stage Right.

9. ACCESS: A minimum of 60 minutes for setup prior to the audience arriving. 10. DRESSING ROOM: A private, secure, non-smoking room convenient to the performance area is required. Please provide a rack to hang clothes, a table, chair, and 4 bottled waters.

11. BILLING: Artist is billed as Hypnotist XXXXXXXXX.

12. COLLATERAL USE: It is strictly prohibited to film, videotape, or make an audio recording of the performance. Still photography during the performance is permitted.

13. HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: Please provide a non-smoking room with two double beds at the same location as event. If this can’t be arranged, please provide at minimum a hotel on par with Hampton or Fairfield Inn.

14. Please forward any reviews, articles, photos, or press related materials concerning Artist's performance to Artist.

15. Purchaser will make the parking arrangements (where necessary) at no cost to Artist.

16. Purchaser will provide a reference letter upon completion of this contract that Artist may use to help acquire future work.

17. The show time is between 60-90 minutes depending on circumstances. The audience should ideally be comprised of 150 English-speaking adults. An average of 8-12 willing volunteers (over the age of 18) will be needed from the audience.
