Lorna Blasche Roll Call President Lorna Blasche called the meeting to order at 8:00p. Ashley Sanders was unexcused Gavin Couvelha Guest Vice President Tyson Moore and Matt Wagner (SGA Candidates): Goals of the candidates included: online TVals, Graduate student healthcare, Parking garage, tuition Amber Foust stabilization and more accountability. Secretary NRHH: NRHH would like to say thanks to the HGB for their hard work Minutes Approval Caroline Jones Minutes were approved as presented. Treasurer Officer Reports Vice-President: The constitution is still being looked at. Changes will be Lauren Brown voted on the same time as elections. Preliminary changes include GPA Historian monitoring and GPA according to ARH. Historian: Let Lauren know if there is an event you need the camera for. Jeremy Thornbrugh Social: SCC is having an Oscar night on 2/27. Dinner will be available for KSUARH Rep $1.00, which will be spaghetti and starts at 6:00p. The Oscar’s start at 7:00p. You can win prizes and get dressed up like a movie star if you’d like. Ashley Sanders ARH: OTY meeting is on 3/7. The sound system is now ready for checkout. Vacant LEAD will be having a program and next week is a studio walk in west Social Co-Chairs stadium. Winter Ball went very well and there were 8 VZ residents in attendance. There is an ARH leadership conference in NY in May. Jeremy Thornbrugh Applications are now available if you would like to go. There will be a new Intramural Chair brochure and you could win a DVD from Wal-Mart if you submit pictures. Email Sarah Decke for info. ARH will be having elections soon. Go to website Judd Patterson to get the apps. Also, we only need 23 more points to get the free party!! Environmental Chair Intramurals: Softball, 3/3 Basketball and Volleyball are still available for us to get a team. Let’s try and have at least one VZ team this year. Meaghan Thompson Environmental: Do not put Newspapers back in the Newspaper bins. We Info Coordinator recycle on Weds. USE IT. Lorna will email and remind residents of this. Multicultural: Hooray for Hobbits is coming soon! Peter is having a program Meghan Boyer on Tuesday: “Boys Rule, Girls Drool” in the Boyd lobby @ 8p. Try and lure th Multicultural Chair some guys to come. Also there is a program on the 28 in the VZ lounge called “In Living Color” Vacant Advisor Reports SCC Rep Erica: Boyd/West is have a women’s week more info to come Camilla: We need to set dates for elections so we can coordinate with the other Erica Mederos halls. Hope ERP is going well for everyone and congrats to Gavin on getting Advisor HGB member of the month. New Business Camilla Jones Posters: We would like it if HGB could get some warning when other halls are Advisor going to put up posters and advertise other events. Meghan is putting a calendar together so we know what is happening and how to plan around it. TV: We will make a sign saying VZ residents have priority in the TV rooms, and if there is ever a problem, don’t hesitate to get assistance from Erica or Camilla Open House: April 9th- we got info on having a booth in the union. The final decision was no. OTY meeting: March 7th. Jeremy will be going, as will Erica Door Hours: Door hours can only be changed in the VZ constitution. They are tentatively set to close from 12am-6am Pop Machine: Camilla will see if it is possible to get a pop machine in the laundry for after hours use Election Dates: We need to have applications in one week prior to the elections. We will distribute applications the week we return from Spring Break, review them the next week, and have the elections during the 2nd week in April Old Business Date Auction: Posters were made to get people to sign up Announcements CSI night Thursdays in the VZ Lounge @ 8:00p Sci-Fi Fridays in the VZ Lounge from 7:00-10:00p Recycling Wednesday’s @ 3:30p Adjournment Meeting was adjourned at 9:10p.
