Its mission is to ensure that present and future generations understand the struggles, sacrifices and victories that shaped the nations of North America and changed world history.

The historic site is comprised of approximately 2,000 acres and includes the reconstructed Fort, the Carillon Battlefield, the Pavilion, the King’s Garden, Mount Defiance, Mount Hope, Mount Independence, and numerous other historic features that span the property’s history. The Fort Ticonderoga Museum holds one of the most comprehensive and premier collections of 18th- century material culture.

Current staffing includes 20 full-time year-round employees and approximately 70 temporary employees who serve Fort Ticonderoga from May-October each year.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION The Senior Crewman helps insure consistent, safe operations of the Motor/Vessel Carillon.
