73 players participated in the 4th 2009 NYSPHSAA Girls Golf State Championship. This was Section VI’s third year participating. While we finished in last place this year it should not be construed as a disappointing finish. We have improved our team score differential by 53 strokes from 2008 and by 167 from 2007. It should also be noted that every Section with the exception of Section VI has players from private schools representing their Section.
