ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS ATTENDING THE ROGATE FIELD TRIP TODAY: Please meet in the cafeteria at 9:00am. You may bring paper and a pencil if you wish to take notes. Please leave all other books in your locker.

There will be a math club meeting tomorrow during lunch in room C11.

There will be an Art Club meeting for all members tomorrow during the 2nd half of lunch. All artwork from Teen arts will be returned at this meeting.

There will be a Spanish Club meeting tomorrow from 3:00 – 4:00PM in room B5. We will be completing our Sand Art.

If you are interested in working out and training with the GL Varsity Cheerleaders, you are welcomed to attend the annual Highlander cheerleading clinic on Saturday May 16, 2015. The cheerleaders will teach a variety of techniques to improve dance, jumps, tumbling, motion and stunt skills, and will engage all participants in team building activities! At the end of the clinic, each group will perform a cheer and dance. The price is $30 and includes a T-Shirt. Girls in grades K-8 are welcome to participate. Mark your Calendars!!!! The first All Girls Highlander Basketball Camp will be held at Governor Livingston HS this summer July 20th - 24th from 9am-2pm. This camp will focus on proper skill development, competitions, game play and tons of fun.... Many of the GL Varsity High School players will be on staff. Please see Mr. Gulbin for a flyer and other details.

Attention all 8th grade students planning to play a sport next year at the high school. Sports registration forms minus the pre-participation physical evaluation (PPE) form are due to the CMS Health Office by Friday, June 5, 2015. It is then your responsibility to deliver the PPE completed by your doctor to GL and place it in the mailbox of the school nurse.

The PPE, signed by a doctor, expires after one year. If a physical presently on file at CMS expires after September 1, then a new PPE is not required. However, a new set of all other sports registration forms including the health history is. Your student athlete will be required to submit an updated physical within two weeks of the expiration date of the physical on file to ensure continuance of participation.

If you are already signed up for an in –school physical at CMS, your complete forms will be forwarded to GL before the end of this school year. There are no additional in-school physical appointments available at CMS.

All 6th and 7th grade students interested in playing a sport next FALL must submit a complete physical packet in before the first day of try outs in September. For more information see Mrs. Prendeville.
