Dear Prayer Warrior for Life, Since the last 40 Days for Life campaign in Dallas, the landscape of abortion has changed substantially in our city. One of the five “wounds in our city” has closed – the Northpark abortion facility. Praise God! But one more opened – a mega Planned Parenthood abortion facility (17,000 square feet) in Southwest Dallas. This new trend towards “big abortion” is a scourge on our state, particularly in large metropolitan areas like Dallas. All people of faith throughout the Dallas area are invited to Stand4life against this scourge during the Fall 40 Days for Life-Dallas Prayer Vigil from September 24 through November 2. The first 40 Days for Life campaign in Dallas – the second in the nation – was in front of Aaron’s late-term abortion facility from December 12, 2004 – January 22, 2005. This vigil was extremely sacrificial – it was cold and took place over the Christmas season. God honored our sacrifice. Not only did Aaron’s late-term abortion facility close in the summer of 2008, bringing the number of abortion facilities in Dallas from six to five, but as you drive eastbound on LBJ Freeway between Preston and Hillcrest, you will see that the former facility where so many babies lost their lives was also leveled to the ground, without even a trace. With expectant faith that God will hear and answer our prayers for an end to the killing, Dallas will once again join the now-worldwide 40 Days for Life campaign spanning 539 cities in 24 countries. All people of faith, across all denominational lines, are invited to pray and fast for an end to abortion, with special attention on the largest abortion provider in the country – Planned Parenthood. The faithful of Dallas will blanket this new Planned Parenthood abortion facility with daily prayer, knowing that God will hear our endless pleas on behalf of the unborn and their families. This is where you come in. We need your help to effect this 40 Days for Life-Dallas Fall campaign in our community, and I wanted to ask you to prayerfully consider taking a role in this life-saving effort. Our church has adopted (INSERT DATE INFORMATION HERE) from (INSERT TIME HERE) to stand and pray at the peaceful vigil outside the new Planned Parenthood abortion facility at 7989 West Virginia Dr, Dallas. Would you be able to sacrifice one hour or more of your time to pray? This is not a protest. There will be no yelling and no graphic images. There will be prayerful servants of God, praying for the unborn children who are scheduled to die and for the conversion of hearts of the abortionists, staff, and the abortion-minded parents. You will not be alone. We are scheduling at least two prayer volunteers every hour. This simple act of prayer may be the only act of love that these poor children ever receive. Won’t you please join us? Please let me know what hours you can sacrifice by contacting me at: (INSERT CONTACT INFORMATION HERE). Thank you in advance for your commitment, and may God bless you!
