Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics 2017 Annual Conference & Exhibition Abstract Form

Dietetics professionals and students (at any level) are invited to submit abstracts of their work. Successful applicants will be asked to present a poster of their work during the 2017 Texas Academy Annual Conference & Exhibition at the Sheraton Georgetown Texas Hotel & Convention Center in Georgetown, Texas March 30-April 1, 2017. Examples of appropriate work include traditional work such as primary research or secondary data analysis, but may also include reports on wellness or nutrition promotion at the workplace or school, literature review, assessment instruments, management projects, or community outreach. We seek projects in foodservice, administration, clinical nutrition, nutrition education, community work, health promotion and wellness, or basic or clinical research that are relevant to this year’s theme: Nutrition: Show Me the Science

Texas Academy Membership Not Necessary To be eligible for consideration you do not need to be a Texas Academy member. As a non member your presentation must still meet the appropriate work standards and all other rules governing a presentation submission. If a Texas Academy member was involved in your project, please list them below. If the student is a Texas Academy member, they should list themselves. If the student is not a Texas Academy member, then the advisor, preceptor, or other supervisor of the project can be listed as a Texas Academy member. This individual can also be listed below as a presenter and could be acknowledged or included in the poster presentation.
