4) Describe your requirements for the CampusEAI Portal.
The initial phase of the project will be the implementation of a portal for Fresno City College with the integration of several functions, including single sign-on for LIVE@EDU, Library System, and Blackboard. The second phase will include the integration of WebAdvisor and various Datatel functions, e-commerce activities, and expansion to the other campuses in the District.
The initial phase will not involve the Student Information System or the District IS staff. The project will be developed at the Fresno City College campus only. The District is facing severe economic challenges over the next several years and the portal will help to increase our communication and information dissemination to student, faculty, and staff in a more efficient way.
5) Describe the timeframe by which you would like to have the CampusEAI Portal implemented and rolled out.

Thank you. Spring 2012 for phase one and Spring 2013 for phase two
6) Are there any other applications that you are currently reviewing for implementation that might impact the CampusEAI Portal project? If so, please explain what stage the institution is in regarding each project and what timeframe you are looking at having each project completed.
We have recently been granted a Title V grant that includes as a major objective the implementation of Virtual Desktops and Applications for student access from on/off campus. The grant is for five years and includes several other objectives related to under-served populations. The service area for Fresno City College is socio-economically disadvantaged and access to software and hardware for many of our students is limited. VDI will allow us to provide increased access to software without cost to our students.
I want the portal to also be a single sign-on for access to the Virtual Applications and desktops for our students and then eventually our faculty.
All application information is strictly confidential and intended only for use of CampusEAI Consortium Grant Review Committee to select Grantee institutions.
