Brant wants to be a manager of a large restaurant in the future. His ______is to become the owner of a business some day and be his own boss. Some of the companies he wants to work for are Applebee’s, Steak and Shake, TGI Fridays, and Tony’s Kitchen. Since he wants to go to college and work towards a(n) ______for two years, he needs to make sure he can pay for his ______. He is working part-time at a small ice cream store but also applied for a ______to get money for college to pay for the rest of the school bills. He wants to turn is part-time job into a(n) ______so he can get paid and also get school credit for learning about management and how companies run.
At the ice cream store he works with his co-workers on a team so they can get the ______done faster and communicate with each other to accomplish things for their boss. To get information about other jobs in the area when he graduates he has started ______with other restaurant owners in the city. This allows him to talk to other people and let them know he is interested in working some day for a bigger company. The trend in the restaurant industry is to provide service to customers and quickly. The more Brant understands this direction in restaurants, the better he will be prepared when he works for a bigger company in the future.
