Goodwill of the Olympics and Rainier Region is a multi-million dollar retail and production operation with 35 stores in 15 counties, employing over 1,300 employees. Summary: The Retail Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruitment for all hourly support staff with a special emphasis on high volume retail recruitment. The Recruiter partners with our Management to create effective recruitment strategies and selection processes, including sourcing, screening, hiring events, placement, and onboarding. Manages special HR projects as assigned. Travel within 15 Washington State county region is required frequently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: other related duties as assigned

Recruitment and On-Boarding

 Collaborate with managers on recruitment efforts for all hourly support positions  Attend Job Fairs and organize regular hiring events  Write and place job posting advertisements  Manage job requisition process  Conduct initial screening and interviews  Manage applicant tracking system for assigned departments  Conduct new employee orientations and complete new hire paperwork  Coordinate Alternative Application processes for ADA requests and for those with barriers to employment  Partner with Workforce Development department and agencies on sourcing candidates with barriers to employment

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED), AA or BA preferred and minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related field. Must have demonstrated experience managing high volume retail recruitment. Retail management experience is a plus.

Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, and speak fluent English. Mathematical Skills: Must have basic math skills.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of HRIS software and Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel. Experience with Applicant Tracking System highly desired. (Intermediate to Advanced skills preferred.) PowerPoint experience desired.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a current Washington State Driver’s License, acceptable driving record and reliable vehicle with personal liability insurance.

Other Skills and Abilities: Strong customer service skills. Ability to work with all levels of management. Highly organized and efficient in time management. High attention to detail and follow-through. Takes initiative and makes recommendations for improvements and/or changes.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
